Expert office

With two experienced and publicly appointed and sworn experts, PSM offers you a comprehensive service, also in the area of damage analysis according to VDI 3822. The services of the expert office include, for example, the preparation of expert reports for companies, courts and insurance companies, inspection activities, e.g. for RAL environmental label "Blue Angel" or consulting and training services.


If you have a specific regulations such as RAL-GZ 716, a delivery specification of an automobile manufacturer or a requirement specification according to which you have to prove the conformity of your products, ask us about the possibilities! We can also advise you on the preparation of data sheets for your products or your purchasing department.


In order to further develop ourselves and the engineering knowledge areas in which we work, research is an essential part of our work. Our daily work often results in approaches for industry-related research projects. We apply for these at various funding institutions or work on the topic together with our customers. Inspection body

Our activity as an inspection body (according to DIN EIN ISO/IEC 17020) is based on our framework agreement with RAL-Gütegemeinschaft Kunststoff-Fensterprofilsysteme e. V. in Bonn. In this context, we offer our customers services in the area of external monitoring of plastic window components, which is regulated in the Technical Appendix of RAL-GZ 716. Do you also have auditing needs, e.g. for internal audits by an independent third party? Let's talk about it!


The accredited standards can be found in the appendix to our accreditation certificate. However, these do not cover our entire portfolio, which you can view here. Our accredited test laboratory MPK will be happy to check the feasibility of standard-compliant tests for you according to your requirements, which go beyond the currently documented testing options.

Encyclopaedia of polymer testing

When designing the homepage of Polymer Service GmbH Merseburg from 2006 onwards, the idea was developed to explain terms from the scientific discipline of " polymer testing" on the homepage itself with a glossary.

The search for an alternative way of presenting the terms began in an effort to constantly expand and graphically improve this explanation and make it accessible to the general public. The wiki system known from the online encyclopaedia wikipedia offers these possibilities, so that the glossary has now been expanded into the PSM wiki "Encyclopaedia of polymer testing".
